Sales Document Management System
As part of our ongoing management service improvement program, specifically targeted at improving our sales channel management, September saw the introduction of a "paperless office system", including the installation of a main and standby enterprise server and back-up power system. This system, also used by other organisations handling large workflows of documents, (for example the NHS) dramatically improves our ability to index and locate parts information and rapidly respond to enquires and to store and retrieve quote and supplier documentation. This represents a considerable investment in systems, training and quality management and will enable us to accommodate ongoing sales growth.
Quality Management System
Following a continued effort by all concerned, we are proud to confirm that the companies management system has been audited and is approved. We are always working to maintain the best possible levels of customer service and delivering quality throughout our business, we are very committed to a continuous program of business improvement.
New Customer Service offices
To enhance our customer service, we have a new office at the entrance to the Portsmouth harbour ferry/freight port, giving us additional capacity to process urgent spare parts requests and provide port services; together with our enhanced new order process system we are focussed on delivering the best possible level of customer service. Customers can easily receive electronic documentation should they require, for example invoice copies. Additional capacity in our stores, with fork lift and mechanical handling ensures all orders are handled efficiently.
